Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as a "page-load session"?

A page-load session is counted when a page with Mapalizer embedded requests a short-lived session token for a registered site. Usage is aggregated by site and domain. No individual visitor data is stored or shared.

Do I need an account?

Yes, for website integration. Create an account at portal.mapalizer.com, register your allowed domains, and generate a publishable site token. The live tools on this website can still be tried without an account.

What is a publishable site token?

It is a browser-safe token with the prefix mpl_pk_live_ or mpl_pk_test_. The Toolbar and Widget use it to request short-lived session tokens for your registered domain. You can create, rotate, and revoke site tokens from the dashboard.

Can I try it before committing to anything?

Yes. Use the live configurator to try all features instantly. No account is needed for the live tools. To integrate Mapalizer on your own site, create a free account and generate a site token.

What happens after the 3-month evaluation period?

After evaluation, you'll need to obtain a paid commercial license. Pricing is based on traffic volume. Contact info@mapalizer.com to discuss terms.

Where can I read the full license?

The complete license text is available on the Terms page.
